06/29/09 Montage of Jim & Margery, Jay Severin, Michael Graham, Michele McPhee, Governor Deval Patrick, & Attorney General Martha Coakley expressing the importance of new regulations regarding elderaly drivers. This is part of WTKK's campaign to encourage listeners to sign our petition at www.969wtkk.com . The Petition supports S.1929, an act to promote safe driving that would require that individuals renewing their license pass a vision and road test every five years after their 85th birthday. If bill S.1929, becomes law, we believe it would protect seniors from becoming victims of their own driving and from endangering the lives of others and ensure greater public safety for all Massachusetts residents.
